Wellcare would like to to inform you that 1099 Year-End Tax Statements for your Medicare business will mail to the shipping address on file no later than January 31, 2023. To receive a 1099 Statement for tax year 2022, the broker or agency must have earned $600 or more from Wellcare/Centene. Earnings are based on the tax ID and not by individual brokers.
IMPORTANT! This message is only for Wellcare Medicare business. If you also sell other Centene lines-of-business (e.g. Ambetter Health), you may receive additional 1099 Statements if your earnings warrant a year-end tax statement.
If you have not received a 1099 Statement for Wellcare Medicare business by February 17, 2023, or have questions about the statement you received, please submit a support ticket in Centene Workbench, which can be accessed through the Single Sign-On Portal.
