Molina Medicare: Available SEPs in Idaho

As you may know, there has been a change with the Medicare Medicaid Coordinated Plans (MMCP) in Idaho this year.

Starting this month, Blue Cross of Idaho (BCI) is no longer offering MMCP. For the remainder of 2025, the only MMCP serving Idaho is Molina's Complete Care FIDE-SNP.

There are currently two Special Election Periods (SEPs) available to these beneficiaries:

• Loss of Plan SEP: This is for members who were on the DSNP plan offered by BCI. You can use this SEP through the end of June for July 1, 2025 effectives.
• Integrated Care SEP: This SEP can be used monthly to move a Medicaid and Medicare dual eligible member to our FIDE full dual plan. The member must also have Molina Medicaid or be in the process of obtaining Molina Medicaid.
