Previously, Highmark introduced the Highmark House Call Program. Below they will be answering some questions you and your clients may have about the program, and sharing a helpful reference guide for you to use!
The Highmark House Call Program is a comprehensive, at-home assessment that gives members one-on-one time with a Licensed Nurse Practitioner. Members get preventive care from the privacy of home, or virtually if they'd prefer. House Calls aren't meant to replace annual wellness visits, but to complement the care members already get from their PCP.
During the visit, a Licensed Nurse Practitioner will:
Members will receive a detailed summary of their visit which will also be sent to their PCP to keep them updated on the member's health.
There is no additional cost to the member. The Highmark House Call Program is a value-added benefit included with the member's coverage.
The House Call Program is available to all Medicare Advantage members once per plan year.
All referrals are routed through Highmark.
Highmark will share more information about the House Call Program in the coming weeks. In the meantime, they have put together a helpful resource to keep on hand in case you get any questions about the program.

You may be aware that Highmark is transitioning their MA, Medigap, and D-SNP members from SilverSneakers to a new fitness program called FitOn Health.
As a reminder, FitOn offers:
Members get 32 credits every month, which is like having $80 per month to spend on gym memberships and classes. The average gym membership costs between 12 and 25 credits. If a membership costs 12 credits, the member will have 20 credits left for additional memberships or classes. Credits are replenished on the first day of the month and don't roll over. Members aren’t limited to a network, but in-network gyms might be a better deal for a member's credits.
Some gyms are already part of FitOn. If a member's gym is included, the member will maintain uninterrupted access to the facility. They will receive a letter in the mail in December from FitOn letting them know if their gym is part of FitOn.
If a member's gym isn't part of FitOn, they'll still be able to use their credits at that gym, but they'll need to set up a digital debit card through FitOn. Members can do this online or by calling FitOn for help (will be able to do so after 1/1/25).
