In Wellcare's continued efforts to provide you the most competitive plans, broker support model and network in Rhode Island, they are excited to officially announce that they have come to a contractual agreement with Care New England (CNE) as a valued in-network partner.
Current and new members enrolled in plans effective 1/1/23 will be able to see CNE providers on an in-network basis.
As with any new provider groups that join our network, there is a mandated credentialing process all providers must go through before they are visible in our provider lookup tools and considered a participating provider. All received providers that are part of the CNE network will bein network with Wellcare upon completion of this process.
There may be providers you are unable to locate in the system tools (Wellcare.com find a provider tool, Ascend, Sunfire, etc.). In the event you are notable to locate a provider beginning 1/1/2023, you can be assured they are utilizing an expedited process to have those providers reflecting an in-network status as soon as possible.
