Wellabe is enhancing Hospital Indemnity

Hospital Indemnity enhancements coming soon

Beginning Oct. 1, Wellabe’s Hospital Indemnity insurance product is getting enhanced in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. In these states, the product will receive some new and updated benefits and optional riders1, including:

• The Hospital Confinement benefit will go up to $750 per day.
• The Emergency Room benefit will cover sickness in addition to injury.
• A new Pet Boarding benefit will cover $50 per day for a maximum of 10 days.
• The optional Outpatient Surgery benefit rider will include the payout options of $1,500 and $2,000.
• The optional Lump Sum Hospital Confinement benefit rider will add the payout options of $1,500; $2,000; and $2,500.
• A new optional Outpatient Prescription Drug benefit rider will pay $20 per prescription up to $300 or $600 per year.
• A new optional Out-of-Network benefit rider will pay $300, $600, or $900 up to three times per year.
• Once per calendar year, clients can make benefit adjustments or add riders to their policy.

All other plan details, benefits, and optional riders will remain the same. These enhancements will be coming to more states soon.
