Wellabe: Dental rates are increasing and more

Dental rate increase coming soon

Wellabe will be increasing rates by 4% on their Gold and Platinum Dental plans. The Buyup benefit and Calendar Year Maximum Carry-over benefit riders will also increase by 4%.

Customers in the following states will see their increases effective March 1, 2024: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.

Customers in Colorado, Indiana, and Mississippi will see their increases effective April 1, 2024.

How to check if you’ll get a 1099

With tax season approaching, please keep these three tips in mind if you have questions about your 1099s:

• Your 1099 form for 2023 will be mailed no later than Jan. 31, 2024. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for delivery.
• 1099s are only sent for earnings of $600 or greater.
• You can view your earned income for 2023 to see if you’re eligible for a 1099 by checking the agent portal.
