Two Plans in Market for 2022 Designed For Low Income Beneficiaries

Did you know Wellcare has not one, but two plans in the state of Vermont designed to offer an enhanced package of benefits for low income Seniors? The Wellcare Plus Open PPO plan has a plan design created with dual eligible beneficiaries in mind. Though you will see a premium on this plan, both the premium and drug deductible will reduce to $0 for full dual eligible members. The Plus Open PPO Includes:

• $2000 in comprehensive dental coverage
• $300/Qtr. OTC benefit
• $750 flex card for dental, vision, and hearing
• $100/month utility flex card

Additionally, in 2022 Wellcare is also excited offer the NEW Assist Open PPO plan. This is a plan designed as an option for Vermont residents that have LIS, but are not true dual eligible beneficiaries. As with the Plus Open PPO, on the Assist Open PPO plan both the premium and drug deductible will reduce to $0 for full LIS beneficiaries. The Assist Open PPO Includes:

• $2000 in comprehensive dental coverage
• $120/Qtr. OTC benefit
• $750 flex card for dental, vision, and hearing
• $75/month utility flex card
