UPMC: The countdown begins…

Congratulations, brokers! You’ve made it to the home stretch of AEP. Although there’s still plenty of time to close more business, it’s not too early to express how proud UPMC is of the hard work and dedication you’ve shown. We’re excited by the preliminary sales reports, but we know your efforts go beyond numbers. Plans, benefits, network, and more!

UPMC is seeing that the new PPO Choice Rx and PPO Premier Rx plans in both western and central PA are top choices this year. Make sure to mention these options first. Here are some competitive highlights about these plans:

The new UPMC for Life Flex Spend Card gives members additional dollars to spend however they like on over-the-counter (OTC) products and dental, vision, and hearing services. Click here to view more information about this benefit.

The UPMC for Life provider network includes access to doctors and hospitals in your community, across PA, and out of state, including the high-quality care of UPMC. Check out this provider flier that includes a list of in-network hospitals and facilities by county.

UPMC for Life is the lowest priced, 5-star plan in PA! They've earned an excellent 5 out of 5 overall star rating from Medicare for 2023 for their HMO and PPO plans, received NCQA Accreditation, and been named one of the BEST Medicare Advantage plans in PA by U.S. News & World Report (10-14-22). Marketing and resources

  • Want to send some last-minute communication to some of your leads? The Converge site includes some useful marketing tools like fliers, self-mailers, and digital ads. Check out the “appointment thank you” and “trying to reach you” self-mailers. They’re free of charge for printed copy, or you can download the finished file and drop them in the mail same day!
  • Digital touchpoints. The broker training site not only contains helpful sales documents, but also houses some electronic marketing that’s at your disposal. Check out the AEP email template and social media posts on the Sales Tools page.
