An updated 2023 enrollment period guide is available below. One specific enrollment period that gets asked about a lot is the SEP DST. This is the FEMA disaster SEP. Not all carriers offer the same ones so it’s important to know what each carrier offers. Also there are requirements that must be met in order to use the DST enrollment period. The beneficiary must have missed a valid election period. The full details on the DST SEP are on page 11 of the enclosed guide.
On Humana’s e-hub enrollment tool, when you select the period SEP then DST, a second question comes up. Read it carefully. It’s asking what election period they missed in order to use the DST SEP.
Sales Integrity previously shared an update on Human's SEP DST report on 2/22/2023. You can access the updated DST report right on your Vantage page by first signing in. In the far right column at the very bottom you will see under "additional resources" "SEP for individuals affected by a disaster or emergency". Click to access.
