Update on Confirming Eligibility for Molina Plans in Michigan

During the past few weeks, Molina has received several questions concerning eligibility for the Molina DSNP plans in Michigan.

As you know, effective 1/1/22, Molina now has two DSNP's and one non-DSNP plan:

H5926-001 Complete Care (Full DSNP)

• To be eligible for this plan you must be QMB, QMB+, SLIMB+ or FBDE and live in the plan service area

H5926-005 Complete Care Select (Partial DSNP)

• To be eligible for this plan you must be SLIMB, QI or QDWI
• Please refer to page 12 of the Enrollment Kit.

H5926-066 Molina Medicare Choice Care (Non-DSNP)

• To be eligible for this plan you must have Medicare Parts A & B and live in the plan service area.
• Who is a good fit for this product?
• ~~Those on a Spenddown – this is a change from previous years

Note: If a member has MA-Healthy Michigan Plan coverage, they are not eligible for any Medicare plans, unless they are disabled or age into Medicare.
