Tip of the Week

Get familiar with the Applications page on Jarvis so you're ready to use the full capabilities during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). The easy-to-use interface gives a snapshot of applications submitted in the last 60 days, so you know where to focus your time. Simply click on a client's name to resume an incomplete application or take action on a pended one – including uploading documents directly in the browser window. Or dive into the data using filtering and sorting capabilities, like searching by a client's first or last name within the "Filter" option or sorting by application status.

JarvisEnroll updates make it even easier to support your clients

UnitedHealthcare has updated JarvisEnroll to make it easier than ever for you to submit chronic condition verification for Special Supplemental Benefits for the Chronically Ill (SSBCI) benefits on 2026 Dual Special Needs Plans (D-SNP). Now, when you submit a D-SNP application in JarvisEnroll, you will be prompted to complete the fields necessary for us to verify a chronic condition. When submitting, be sure your client is aware they will need to authorize their release of information via email or text in order to process the verification.

As a reminder, you can also now securely upload documents—like proof of Medicare or Medicaid—during an enrollment in JarvisEnroll or after an enrollment on the Applications page. And the look and navigation in JarvisEnroll has been refreshed  to make remote signatures simpler for consumers. Enrollees can select the easy-to-find "Approve" button from among three options ("Approve," "Decline" or "Download PDF"). Then, the enrollee will be directed to enter the code they receive based on their selection of email, text or voice confirmation.

Enhancements to onboarding communications

As new members join UnitedHealthcare, they would like to ensure they have all the information they need. That's why UnitedHealthcare has  enhanced their onboarding communications. These enhancements include:

  • Setting accurate expectations at time of enrollment
    • Informing C-SNP members their plan requires verification of their chronic condition
    • Educating D-SNP members on changes to plan enrollment periods
  • Promoting early digital engagement
    • Encouraging members to create their online account at the time of enrollment to track the status of their plan application
    • Eligible members can also get a head start on earning rewards prior to their plan effective date by watching a video on their member site
  • Educating members on critical plan changes, including consistent communication on OTC benefit changes throughout onboarding

With these updates, UnitedHealthcare is making it easier for new members to start engaging with their plan, stay informed and feel confident about their coverage from the very beginning.

Get the facts: Helping your clients understand the role of health insurers
