UnitedHealthcare: JarvisWRAP for November 17

November 17, 2025
UnitedHealthcare

AEP tip of the week

Help members feel more confident and supported in their health care choices by gently encouraging them to choose a Primary Care Provider (PCP) when they enroll in Medicare Advantage HMO or HMO-POS Plans, including Dual Special Needs Plans (D-SNP). For members with Medicare Advantage PPO plans, including D-SNPs, selecting a PCP isn't required, but it's still a great way to get personalized care that meets their unique needs. By exploring PCP options together, you can help members take a proactive step towards better health and well-being.

Enhancing your Book of Business with SSBCI statuses

UnitedHealthcare is excited to bring you another Book of Business enhancement that will enable you to easily and efficiently view the qualifying condition verification status for your current clients in a plan with Special Supplemental Benefits for the Chronically Ill (SSBCI) for 2026. UnitedHealthcare aims to make the transition to SSBCI benefits seamless.

SSBCI verification statuses help you:

  • Offer personalized support to clients
  • Stay ahead in helping your clients access their benefits by ensuring their qualifying condition is verified
  • Deliver exceptional service with up-to-date data at your fingertips

How to get started with SSBCI verification

  • To identify relevant members, go to your Book of Business and click Filters. Then select the SSBCI filters under Member Status.
  • Review the impacted members to understand their status
  • Take necessary actions based on the verification results

Explore this enhancement to unlock the full potential of Book of Business on Jarvis. For more information related to SSBCI, check out SSBCI Member Communications and the SSBCI - Quick Reference Guide.

Healthy food credits help members this Thanksgiving

Life-changing care at home

For Jack, a UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage member, a HouseCalls visit was more than just a check-up, it was life-changing. A nurse practitioner uncovered his dangerously high blood pressure, prompting immediate action that ultimately helped save his life with a stent placement.

Millions of older adults rely on UnitedHealthcare's free HouseCalls service, which brings important preventive care visits into their home. For UnitedHealthcare members, most individuals receive an annual HouseCalls visit, a yearly in-home health and wellness service that helps people stay on top of their health between regular doctor visits. These visits occur at no cost to members, ensuring they have access to preventive care that might otherwise be difficult, or even impossible, for them to access.

Moreover, social drivers of health — things like food, housing and transportation — can have a major impact on one's health, and HouseCalls can also help connect older adults and other beneficiaries to services and resources for unmet needs. For members like Jack, a HouseCalls visit is a proactive step towards a healthier, more empowered life.
