UnitedHealthcare: JarvisWRAP for March 31

March 31, 2025
UnitedHealthcare

Tip of the week

UnitedHealthcare is committed to providing you tools and support during the 2025 Special Election Period (SEP) and are excited to share the 2025 SEP Resources page on Jarvis! This page was designed to make it easy for you to access the most relevant tools and information to support your SEP planning. Easily access the Medicare & Medicaid Verification tool, your state’s D-SNP enrollment guidelines, Part D resources and more

Reminder: Disaster/Emergency SEP change rescinded

As was prevoilsy noted, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has rescinded the Emergency/Disaster Special Election Period (SEP) change that was scheduled to go into effect April 1, 2025. This means enrollments using the Emergency/Disaster SEP can continue to be submitted by an agent directly to UnitedHealthcare and agents will not need to redirect clients to 1-800-Medicare.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) may have declared a weather-related emergency or major disaster in your state. Medicare beneficiaries affected may be eligible for a Special Election Period (SEP). You can access marketing materials that comply with CMS marketing requirements on the UHC Agent Toolkit by searching keyword “Disaster.”

Help boost member retention by connecting with clients

A great member experience starts with you. Keeping members engaged is crucial for retaining them. By fostering a sense of community and personal connection, you can help create a loyal and engaged client base.

One way to connect is by scheduling regular check-ins with your clients. Touching base allows you to answer questions, help resolve potential concerns and help facilitate a smooth member journey. A quick phone call or email can help make a big difference.

Another way is to use the retention materials from the UHC Agent Toolkit to help stay top of mind. Look for the blue “Retention” button on the right of the UHC Agent Toolkit home page. You will find materials to engage with clients that include information about Renew Active, an Annual Care Checklist for members to share with their doctors, OTC benefit flyers and more! Explore today to find the right materials to help engage with members.

To review more great tips and start building your retention plan, review the “2025 Retention Planning Guide” on Jarvis.

The lettered plans. The plan coverage. No enrollment, period. There’s a lot to know about AARP® Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans from UnitedHealthcare® and you may be wondering where to begin. Let’s look at 5 fast facts:

  1. Consumers have options: There are several Medicare Supplement plans with varied levels of coverage consumers can choose from. UnitedHealthcare is proud to offer multiple plan options for Medicare-eligible consumers.
  2. Consumers have flexibility: Medicare Supplement plans do not require the use of networks, giving insured members the flexibility to see the provider of their choice, as long as they accept Medicare patients.
  3. Consumers have coverage when traveling: Insured members don’t have to worry about finding a network provider when they travel nationwide.
  4. Costs are predictable: Medicare Supplement insurance works with Original Medicare to help keep out-of-pocket medical costs not paid by Medicare, such as deductibles and copays, to a minimum.
