Improvements to book of business (BoB) on Jarvis

Good news! UHC has improved your book of business (BoB) experience on Jarvis. Moving forward, you’ll notice they have added new fields when you download a BoB report. These fields may include agency hierarchy levels associated with members in your BoB– National Marketing Alliances (NMA), Field Marketing Organizations (FMO), Master General Agencies (MGA), General Agencies (GA), etc. – and National Producer Number (NPN) for identification purposes. 

To support member retention efforts, outreach, marketing and business planning, they are also providing your upline(s) access to their BoB(s).UnitedHealthcare is excited about these improvements and the added value they’ll bring. Check out your BoB by visiting Jarvis > Home page or Jarvis > Tools > Book of Business. Download a report to see how these changes can help you, and look forward to further enhancements that will continue to bring you value!

Jarvis Notification Center is live!

At UnitedHealthcare, the safety and security of members’ information is their number one priority. To that end, they are excited to announce that they have launched the first phase of the Jarvis Notification Center!

  • Currently you receive secure emails from UnitedHealthcare with member and plan updates. To ensure member’s personal information remains secure, these will now be sent as notifications on Jarvis.
  • You will continue to receive these secure emails for a period of time. This will allow you to access the information in both places and make a smooth transition.
  • The secure email will mention that the messages can also be found in the new Jarvis Notification Center.

The following is a list of the notifications you may receive.

  • Out of area updates will be sent every Tuesday
  • Loss of SNP notices will be sent as needed on a monthly basis
  • Non-payment of premium notices will be sent every month on the fifteenth
  • Chronic verifications will be sent twice per month with the member letter attached
  • Death notices will be sent as needed on a monthly basis
  • Event reminders will be sent weekly

You will continue to receive notifications as needed related to sales operation updates.

State Medicaid redetermination update

Medicaid redetermination is the process through which states redetermine an individual’s Medicaid eligibility. Medicaid recipients deemed ineligible will have their Medicaid benefits terminated.

The following states may terminate members’ Medicaid benefits starting on July 1, 2023:

  • California
  • Delaware
  • Illinois
  • Louisiana
  • Michigan
  • Minnesota
  • Missouri
  • New York
  • North Carolina

The July live training calendar is available!

The July schedule of live training sessions is now available. Download the schedule to view and register for over 40 engaging Zoom sessions! The July calendar will feature many of UHC's standard trainings for Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement, but with an additional focus on new agents. Below are some trainings that will be especially relevant to new agents.

New Agent Orientation: This training will help support your journey to sales success and includes an overview of UnitedHealth Group, cultural values, the evolution of Medicare and resources available to agents, such as Jarvis, Learning Lab, LEAN, UnitedHealthcare Agent Toolkit and more. (Offered twice a week in July)

Jarvis: Take advantage of Jarvis, your agent portal! This live demonstration will walk you through access, navigation, features and functions, including: how to register for national live training sessions, current news, provider search tools, application status, commissions, communications, eligibility tools, plan details, market demographics and more. (Offered once a week in July)

Election Periods: Enroll consumers in the right plan at the right time! This training will review the MA/MA-PD foundations of election periods, details of commonly used election periods, scenario-based examples, training resources and best practices for successful enrollments. (Offered once a week in July)
