What to expect from UnitedHealthcare this AEP

UHC is here to support you with helpful tools and information to prepare for a successful Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). Here’s what you can expect in the coming months:

  • June and July—Need to Know sessions: Getting information early is important. Learn about key 2026 changes from UnitedHealthcare leaders at these Need to Know sessions. Watch for an invitation from your local leadership.
  • Late July—2026 Sneak Peek: Get a preview of the 2026 Medicare plans including information on new and renewing plans, plan footprints and select benefits
  • August and September—Product Rollouts: Get all the details on the 2026 product offerings and how they’re aligned to fit with industry changes. UHC will also cover new tools and resources to support you for this coming AEP. Invitations to join a rollout will come from your local leadership.
  • September—More training: Take part in local and national training to learn even more about the 2026 plan offerings. The local trainings are an opportunity to dive deep into the specifics of plans in your markets. Plus, check out national webinars "AEP Retention Planning,” “Conducting a Successful Event” and the “AEP Agent Checklist.”
  • October—AEP begins: Start marketing and selling 2026 plans!

Jarvis mobile app update required

You may see a message in the Jarvis mobile app directing you to update your Jarvis mobile app, if needed. You will not be able to access the app or move forward using the app until you update to the new version. Older versions of the Jarvis mobile app may no longer function correctly, and users will receive an error message. Once the app version is updated, the error message will disappear. This applies to iOS and Android users.

A successful UCard® Member Week

UHC is excited to report another UnitedHealthcare UCard® Member Week, which took place the week of May 5, 2025. Member Week provides a great opportunity for Medicare Advantage members to take advantage of the unique benefits UnitedHealthcare provides. Thanks to your incredible support, UHC achieved a 43.1% engagement rate of people who interacted with the Member Week website.

UHC is already looking forward to the next Member Week this fall. Stay tuned for more details later this summer.

What to know about the Health Outcomes Survey

With the Health Outcomes Survey (HOS) just around the corner, now is a good time to help make sure your members are making the most of their plans.

Between July and November, some Medicare Advantage members will be randomly selected to complete the HOS. It asks about physical activity, fall prevention, incontinence and mental health.

How you can help

  • Encourage conversations: Urge members to talk to their providers about physical and mental health
  • Highlight benefits: Make sure members understand how their plan supports their health needs
  • Guide provider selection: Help members choose in-network providers and explain out-of-network costs

Important reminders

Let members know the survey is legitimate and encourage them to complete it. Please note, CMS prohibits agents from attempting to influence responses or suggest that positive answers benefit the plan or agents. You can learn more details about HOS on CMS’s website.
