UnitedHealthcare is deeply saddened and shocked at the tragic passing of dear friend and colleague Brian Thompson, the CEO of UnitedHealthcare. Brian was a highly respected colleague and friend to all who worked with him. Our hearts go out to Brian’s family and all who were close to him.
Brian worked at UnitedHealthcare for 20 years and was committed to the organization and serving Medicare beneficiaries. His profound legacy will be honored as UnitedHealthcare continues to advance their mission to help people live healthier lives and improve the health care system for everyone.
UnitedHealthcare would like to take a moment to express their gratitude for all of your dedication, time and commitment to serving Medicare consumers during the Annual Enrollment Period. This was a unique year that involved extra effort to educate consumers on industry changes and navigate a dynamic landscape.
The Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) may be behind us, but these resources and reminders will continue to be helpful:
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) may have declared a weather-related emergency or major disaster in your state. Medicare beneficiaries affected may be eligible for a Special Election Period (SEP).
For affected areas and SEP dates, please visit Jarvis. For marketing materials that comply with CMS marketing requirements, please visit the UHC Agent Toolkit and search keyword “Disaster.”
