UnitedHealthcare supports an appointment process called “Just in Time” (JIT), which allows agents to become automatically appointed once they sell a plan rather than requesting, waiting for processing and paying for appointments they may not use.
Florida is a JIT appointment state. Before becoming a JIT state, agents and solicitors who were licensed to sell in Florida were required to be appointed for all plans.
