As of June 1, 2023, brokers will no longer be able to cancel plans on behalf of a member, whether by phone or through self-service tools. We instead ask that you encourage your The Chesapeake Life Insurance Company clients to use their Member Hub website, www.uhcmemberhub.com to make any changes such as address, change to dependents, payment, or request to cancel.
When your clients can manage their plans 24/7/365 that makes for a more engaged member and a happier client for you! Encourage your clients to register and use Member Hub, so they can do things on their own schedule – no phone calls to you or to customer service.
