New plan misfit reporting now live in the Agency Portal!

Plan misfit reporting is now available via your Devoted Agency Portal!

A “plan misfit” occurs when the plan sold is not a good fit for the member. Here are the two scenarios that Devoted is tracking and need your help with:

  • C-SNP+ enrollments for members without full Medicaid — these individuals lack cost-share protection and may face higher out-of-pocket costs. Note: partial duals (SLMB, QI, QDWI) are not a good fit.
  • Giveback plans sold to members with full or partial Medicaid — these members won’t benefit from the giveback and may face higher out-of-pocket costs.

Devoted needs your help with the following actions:

  • Review your plan misfit reporting (agency, agent, and application level reporting) and identify where improvement is needed to meet Devoted's goal of 6% or less misfit rate across our C-SNP+ and giveback products, respectively.
  • Coach and retrain your agents who have multiple plan misfits to prevent further occurrences.
  • Ensure that eligibility checks are being completed and that eligibility data is being used to determine plan fit during the NEADS analysis.

Preventing plan misfits will help your organization by mitigating the risk of CTMs and rapid disenrollments and by benefiting effectuation and retention.

For awareness, the Devoted telesales team is contacting members to communicate that the plan may not be the best fit for them. If Devoted telesales makes a plan change to get the member onto a Devoted plan that’s a better fit, your agency’s agent will remain the Agent of Record.
