Earlier this year, a referendum was passed requiring dental insurers to adhere to an 83% minimum loss ratio (learn more here). As a result of this measure, several dental insurance carriers will be exiting the market in 2024. NCD by MetLife will remain in the market and will continue to be available for sale to new members.
Soon, a number of dental policyholders from other carriers will no longer have coverage and will be looking for a new home. NCD would love to be that home, and they encourage you to reach out to them and sell the flagship insurance product, NCD by MetLife.
