Update: 2026 Commission Structure in California

Beginning with 1/01/26 effective enrollments next plan year, commissions for NEW SALES will be paused on Molina's CHP MAPD and CHP C-SNP products. Effected plans may be found here. Renewal commissions will continue to be paid. This decision is part of a responsible, phased approach to fully integrate these products into Molina's operational systems. Integration of large, complex health plan portfolios requires careful execution to protect compliance, ensure member experience, and align provider relationships. Lessons from across the industry have shown that rushing this process can create long-term challenges.

What does this mean for you:

• Molina D-SNP-EAE and MAPD products in California WILL CONTINUE to be commissionable.
• The 2025 CHP D-SNP-EAE plan members are being cross-walked into 2026 Molina D-SNP-EAE plans, which will remain commissionable and retain the agent of record.
• The pause in commissions for NEW SALES of CHP MAPD and C-SNP is temporary while they complete integration and stabilize operations.
• Renewal commissions will continue to be paid for CHP existing members.
