Increased HRA Payments for 2023 with Cigna

Even more dollars in your pocket with D-SNP and C-SNP enrollments

Get excited! Starting with 2023 effectives this AEP, you can earn $125 when you enroll your Cigna Medicare Advantage customers in an eligible Medicare D-SNP or C-SNP plan and facilitate a health risk assessment (HRA) with Cigna's Value Based Enrollment initiative.

The following plans are eligible for the increased $125 HRA payment: 

• All Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNP)
• All Chronic Condition Special Needs Plans (C-SNP)
• Cigna True Choice Plus Medicare (PPO), H7849-079, in Illinois in Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Kankakee, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties.

In addition to receiving increased payments of $125 for enrollments with HRAs in the eligible plans listed above, you will continue to earn $75 for each HRA that you facilitate with your other Cigna Medicare Advantage customers. This means even more money in your pocket!

Keep in mind: 

• Increased HRA payments for D-SNP and C-SNP enrollments are applicable for January 1, 2023 effectives and forward.
• In order to be authorized to facilitate the Value-Based Enrollment HRA, you must be the Agent of Record (AOR) who wrote the policy, and you must complete VBE HRA training via Producers’ University, and qualify as “Ready to Sell” to complete the enrollment application with the customer.
• Cigna has increased the HRA submission turn around time from two calendar days to 10 calendar days. You must facilitate the HRA with the customer and submit the completed HRA within the HRA tool, within 10 calendar days of the customer's application sign date.
