Important Update: Cigna Healthcare Supplemental Benefits Rebranding and Ownership Change

Cigna Healthcare Medicare Business Rebranding

On July 8, 2025, Cigna announced that Cigna Healthcare® Medicare is now HealthSpring^SM.

You may have noticed that most materials, websites and enrollment platforms still reflect the Cigna Healthcare brand. As with so many things, change takes time.

• The Medicare Advantage and Part D (PDP) business will adopt the HealthSpring name for the 2026 AEP selling season.
• The Supplemental Benefits business (Medicare Supplement, Supplemental Health & Life, and Dental, Vision & Hearing) will continue using the Cigna Healthcare brand through 2025 and will launch the new HealthSpring brand in 2026.

Cigna will provide FAQs to help you clearly communicate the branding change as well as the recent ownership change (HCSC Acquisition) to your clients and prospects. The goal is to ensure transparency.
