

As was previously shared in the October 23 Broker Insights newsletter, exciting Medicare Advantage (MA), Prescription Drug Plan (PDP), and Supplemental Benefits (CSB) business technology changes are coming your way on December 15! These changes include the implementation of a new contracting system.
To successfully transition to this new system, HealthSpring must retire their current contracting portals, ExpressWay (CSB) and Producer Express (MA/PDP).
This activity requires a system blackout period, which will begin at 5 p.m. CT / 6 p.m. ET on Friday, November 28, and end on Monday, December 15. Recruiting and contracting capabilities will not be available during this time.
Please note: Agent appointments will continue to be processed during this period.
November 28 is the last day to submit contracts through ExpressWay, Producer Express and the third-party vendor, SuranceBay (CSB). It is also the last day to complete all contracting requirements.
December 15, the new contracting system is expected to open and you will be able to resume agent and agency contract submissions.
