Humana Topic of the Week: Reach Rewards, Member Care Assessments, and CenterWell

May 17, 2022

Member Care Assessments –  You must be a certified agent to do member care assessments.  The MCA is a survey you can complete within 5 days of taking a MA or MAPD application.  The survey allows Humana to gather knowledge of how to best assist your members and will help you with retention.  You can complete the MAPD application any way you want -electronically or on paper, and then sign onto your REVEL account to do the assessment.  Currently out of 2000 agents, have 409 agents that have completed the MCA training and 191 of you have actually done assessments and earned the $50 admin fees!  The survey is 14 questions and you get paid a $50 admin fee when the member goes active.  You will need to complete the required training on your Vantage portal in MarketPoint University. One agent even earned $7000!  Don’t miss out!  **important to know you can’t go back and complete on already active members and the assessment can only be completed once every 12 months.  So if a member has already had one completed on them, you will not get paid if they are changing to a new plan with you as an agent.

Humana Reach Rewards – You must be a contracted agent, hold a current residential license, and be in good standings.  Reach Rewards is a points program that you can enroll in and receive points for many different activities that you are already doing with Humana.  As you climb from Member to Ambassador, points will automatically accumulate for you. Currently out of 2000 agents, have 393 agents that have enrolled into the program.  **Important to know – this is an annual program.  The points you earn will accumulate in your Marketing Resource Center.  On June 30th you will return to member status and start growing again. The points you’ve earned already will remain in the Marketing Resource center will and be available through December.  There are at least 2 agents that earned not only $500 in their marketing resource center but also had their AHIP paid for them for the upcoming year on top of other goodies.

Humana Pharmacy /CenterWell – just as a reminder, don’t forget that Humana Pharmacy is changing its name to CenterWell.  By completing the HP/CenterWell consent when you are enrolling a member onto a MAPD or PDP plan you can help the member identify savings by using the mail order pharmacy!  Tier 1 and 2 at a 90 day supply will have a $0 copay when using the mail order.  It is a full service mail order pharmacy and can assist with all tiers but the first 2 really stand out!
