Humana Topic of the Week: Green Means GO!

Wow - There has been so much to talk about over the last 3 weeks!  Now the time has arrived with AHIP opening this week and Humana’s Launch Date being 1 day away!  Here are your need to knows!

Launch date and Recertification Timeframes:

• Partner certification and all-channel recertification will launch Tuesday June 28^th at 12 PM EST.
• All currently-certified agents must complete their recertification no later than Wednesday November 30^th to remain in good standings. Agents cannot discuss, market, or sell Plan Year 2023 plans until they have completed the 2023 recertification. 
• Initial certification will remain open for new agents until June of 2023.
• * This is for English language cert and re-cert. Spanish cert and re-cert will launch in early August.

Quick bullets that may be helpful:

• Certification and Re-Certification open at same time.
• Sign onto www.Humana.com  click sign in and log onto your Vantage page
• Column on the left – click the green cert/re-cert button
• Next screen has Pink Banner across the top with cert course loaded.  Click view
• If the pink bar is missing, in the bottom left box click certifications and courses and it will be there.
• AHIP / NAHU – If you offer all large carriers – do AHIP click Enroll (even if you’ve already completed it – click enroll)
• Once you enroll it will ask you to confirm with Proceed. Once you click proceed there is no going back and changing it. Make sure you’re in the right one before proceed.
• Certification Home page will be next with course outline in top left corner.
• When going through the modules it will prompt you to go out to AHIP.  At which time it will pull your current score over or allow you to enroll and take the course.
• Complete modules and attest to your completion!  You’re done!
