That’s why Anthem has made it easier for you to help members change their Primary Care Physician (PCP).

In Producer Toolbox (also known as Broker Portal) you can:

• Easily view your member’s current PCP
• Search for a new in-network PCP
• Assign the new PCP for your member in just a few clicks

PCP Change Attestation

• In order to change the PCP, you must have either written documentation from the member or a recorded call with the member requesting a PCP change.
• A copy of this documentation must be saved for 10 years and may be requested at a later date.
