In accordance with compliance requirements, Gerber Life will require any upline that has Agents selling Gerber Life products in an override state to be licensed and appointed in that state in order to receive override commissions.
Current override states include:California, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, New Mexico, South Dakota, Texas, and Virginia.
If you are already licensed in these states, there is no action required at this time. Gerber Life is in the process of getting all uplines with a license in any of these states appointed. If you currently have downline agents selling in any of these states and do not have a license, your only course of action to receive override commissions is to obtain your licensure and notify Gerber Life by contacting the Agency Support Team (800-428-4947) or emailing at glic.appointment.status@gerberlife.com.
Gerber Life will soon be adding 21 new override states. These states include: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming
Uplines that have Agents selling Gerber Life products in these states must also be licensed and appointed to receive override commissions. Gerber Life will appoint all uplines with a license in any of these states and no action is required.
If you are currently unlicensed in any of these states and have downline selling agents in these states, please obtain your licensure to receive overrides and notify Gerber Life either by contacting our Agency Support Team (800-428-4947) or emailing glic.appointment.status@gerberlife.com
