Geisinger Gold Robo Calls November 2021

Some Geisinger Gold members are getting automated phone calls about a supplemental $10 over-the-counter card they have received.

Your clients may call you asking for clarification. Here are some call scripts to help you answer any questions that arise.

‍To members with OTC benefits

This is a message from Geisinger Gold. We recently sent out a $10 over the counter card to all members. If your Geisinger Gold plan already includes OTC benefits, this card is in addition to those benefits. This is a one-time card for $10 for you to use on OTC items to help stay healthy. If you have not yet received your card, it should arrive soon. Please refer to the letter that came with the card for information on how to activate your new card and where the card can be used. You can begin using this card right away, and it will expire at the end of 2022. This card will not reload, so you don't need to keep it after you spend the $10. If you have an OTC card as part of your benefits, please be sure to keep that card. You will be asked to enter your card number and your member ID number. If you have already called us or activated your card, you can disregard this message. To activate your card,  please call the number on the letter, 1-888-682-2400.
