Steps to Check your Commission Statements

  2. Click on History (on the left menu)
  3. Click on Statements (ordered by date, newest at the top)
  4. Click on the line of the statement you wish to open; this opens a screen where you can preview the PDF
  5. If you prefer to download as an Excel spreadsheet, click on the Statement Detail Extract from the menu on the left
  6. From here you can save as an Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (option at the top of the screen). Click save, choose XLS format, OK, then open the file.

Frequently Asked Commissions Statement Questions

When are statements posted? By Wednesday prior to the first and third Fridays of the month (Example: March dates will be March 1 and March 15). See the 2023 Commissions Calendar here.

What's being paid on each commission statement? The first Friday of the month we pay all renewals, administrative fees, and new business written. On the third Friday, we pay true-ups and any business that wasn't paid on the first Friday.

What is the cut-off date for commissions? If the business is written at least Wednesday prior to the last Friday of the month and the enrollment is clean (complete, eligibility verified and CMS accepts the enrollment), business is usually paid on the first Friday of the month.

What if I have a negative balance? If that happens, the current procedure is that Molina will deduct future commissions from your negative balance until it returns to zero and then commissions will resume being paid.

What if I'm missing commissions? Verify the client shows on your book of business (Reports > Book of Business Report > Enter from date as the first of the month and to date as a future date). If they are not there, call Medicare Broker Services for further assistance. If they are on your Book of Business and not on your commission statement, they will most likely be on your next commission statement.
