Based on CMS communications this year and guidance, telephonic enrollments may be conducted via outbound call with prospects in cases where the beneficiary or his or her authorized representative initiated contact. CMS requires you to replace the 2022 Star Ratings document (currently on yellow paper inside your MA/MAPD kits) with the new 2023 Star Ratings page in any enrollment kits in your possession by October 27. You’re also required to review the 2023 Star Ratings document with beneficiaries when presenting Aetna MA/MAPD and SilverScript PDP plans.
