Excellus BCBS Medicare Supplement mailing

It has come to the attention of Excellus that members on Medicare Supplement plans have received statements reflecting the new rates. They have just learned that a system glitch which triggered notices to go out with the incorrect rates. The rates are NOT changing until March and a correction letter will be going out to our members indicating this.

Excellus offers their sincerest apologies for any panic or inconvenience this may have caused, somehow the automated system triggered the change very prematurely. Please be aware correction letters will be going out. In the event you receive any phone calls, they wanted to ensure you were aware of the error.
