Earlier this year, Excellus BCBS partnered with FitOn Health to offer their Medicare fitness program for 2025. Through agent, Excellus BCBS has learned that this transition presented challenges for you and your clients. To better meet the needs of members and partners, they will be transitioning to the Silver&Fit program® as their Medicare fitness benefit provider on September 1, 2025.
Members will receive the letter linked below in early August that explains their new coverage with the Silver&Fit program® as well as the required corrections to their Evidence of Coverage (EOC). Members that use our current fitness benefit will need to make sure their gym is in-network with the Silver&Fit program® and reenroll on or after September 1 to continue their membership. Additional guidance is provided in the letter below.
If you have any questions about this transition, please reach out to Broker Account Services. Members can call Customer Care for assistance as well.
