Excela Health Network Access

If your sales region includes Westmoreland County, you may have already heard about UnitedHealthcare terminating their access to Excela Health for 2022. This change means that all Medicare beneficiaries on a UnitedHealthcare plan that would like access to the doctors and hospitals of Excela Health must look for another insurance carrier. This change is effective January 1, 2022.
This can be a great opportunity to discuss the UPMC for Life plan options for Westmoreland County.
