Special Enrollment Period (SEP)
This enrollment period encompasses 5-star plan switching, D-SNP quarterly changes, those new to Medicare, individuals affected by a disaster or other emergencies, and some others. Read the SEP guide
Open Enrollment Period (OEP) – January 1 – March 31
OEP is available to all Medicare beneficiaries on Medicare Advantage or Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plans. It allows them to select a different plan than they chose in AEP, or return to Original Medicare. Read the election guide
General Election Period (GEP) – January 1 – March 31
GEP applies to beneficiaries who’ve missed their 7-month Initial Enrollment Period and don’t qualify for SEP. Read the election guide
