MEDICAID REDETERMINATION

This year, states are conducting the Medicaid Redetermination process for the first time since March 2020. See this schedule to the view the timeline for each state. Since the redetermination is expected to impact many Medicaid members, Cigna HealthcareSM is taking proactive steps to support you and your customers through this process. 2024 CERTIFICATION AND MONTH

Make sure to check out the June and July training calendars below to join upcoming training sessions. The 2024 Medicare certification will launch on July 1. This year, Cigna will have the option to test-out of any of the courses! If you want to get started on your AHIP Medicare training, click this link to launch AHIP and ensure that your completions are immediately transmitted to Cigna Healthcare.

VETERAN RESOURCES

Cigna now has customizable English and Spanish Veteran marketing flyers available in CustomPoint! They also have an English and Spanish brochure available. The brochures include information about the Courage and MAPD plans that can meet each Veteran’s unique needs. CIGNA SUPPLEMENTAL BENEFITS (CSB) PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Cigna recently launched the Cigna Supplemental Benefits (CSB)  Product Overview Presentation. They are pleased to provide you with this comprehensive review of the CSB product offerings, from Medicare  Supplement through Supplemental Health, including practical features such as  customer utilization scenarios. Be sure to utilize this great new tool for your  next sales conversation. Not for use in ID, IA, KS, MA, MN, NM, ND, NY, OR,  UT, WI, or WY.

 

WELLNESS CORNER

Having good health goes beyond the physical. It is also important to pay attention to our mental health. Cigna encourages you to remind your customers to check in with their doctors about any mental health concerns during each yearly health checkup. This is an important step to take as it can help catch and address any issues. Remember that as an incentive, Cigna Healthcare’s Medicare customers receive a $30 reward in their Cigna Healthy Today card when they complete their yearly checkup.
