Cigna February Binder payment due date is extended to 2/28/23

Ensure your clients are covered in 2023

Cigna has important news your clients will want to hear: their binder payment due date has been extended to February 28, 2023. This extension includes  your medical clients with February 1, 2023 effective dates. Once a policy is  issued, you’ll see your active business on CignaforBrokers.com in the  Book of Business section.

Please note the following:

• ‍Applications are not processed until binder payment is received. For February 1, 2023 effective date policies, submit payment by 2/28/2023.
• ‍“Pending Enrollment” report is now available on CignaforBrokers.com for Agency Brokers*.
• Agency brokers* can view, sort and export your book of business, which shows clients that have yet to pay their first premium payment. Login to CignaforBrokers.com >> click on Book of Business >> click on the Pending Enrollment button. ‍
• Binder Payment by Phone, Online or Mail. Your clients can make binder payments by phone at 877.900.1237, online at CignaIndividual.com/payment or send a payment to the address on their bill.
