In this edition, Cigna shares a Part D quick guide and compliance updates for Medicare Advantage (MA) and Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) brokers, and Supplemental Benefits (CSB) state rate adjustments, AEP tools, and Book of Business enhancements. Additionally, for all Medicare brokers, they provide rebrand, training, and member portal news.
Selling season will be here before we know it! There will be more AEP tips and tools for you over the next month.
Exciting news: Your clients will soon have access to a new member portal! Improvements include a fresh, user-friendly platform and personalized journey to manage benefits, claims, wellness incentives, and more.
All MA and CSB members received emails recently outlining the changes to come. Once the new portal launches, members will be able to log in with their existing credentials, but they'll be prompted to set up a new password for security purposes.
For now, MyCigna.com remains active. Members will get a follow-up email once the new portal is available, including the new URL and relevant resources. Cigna will update you prior to the go-live date so you can assist your clients with any questions they have.
As the new HealthSpring brand continues to roll out, updates and reminders will be provided from time to time. Here are a few of the latest:
Are you ready to sell Part D in 2026? Cigna has developed a quick guide with everything you need to know about the 2026 HealthSpring PDP offerings, including which states offer commissions. Log into CignaForBrokers to view the flyer and learn more.
Last week, Cigna shared an important message regarding their 2026 strategy and decommissioned PPO plans. If you haven't read it, click here to learn more.
Please note regarding electronic enrollment platforms: The PPO plans that are non-commissionable will be suppressed on ConnectureDRX and SunFire. The PDPs that are non-commissionable will be visible on these platforms, but will have a flag labeling them as non-commissionable on both platforms.
When Cigna receives a CTM* from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), they have a limited time to collect the required information and report back to CMS. Due to the quick turnaround needed, your cooperation is appreciated in responding to their inquiries related to CTMs as quickly as possible. Click here to learn more.
Please note, failure to comply may result in a founded complaint determination, reporting of the agent to CMS for non-compliance, and remediation action from the Sales Development Action Program (SDAP). *Complaints Tracking Module, or CTMs, are complaints filed directly with CMS.
Cigna continues to enhance their Book of Business to make managing your client applications and policies a snap. Here are a couple of changes to the Policy Details page that they think you'll like (CignaForBrokers login required):
