As was previously shared, Cigna is making some business technology enhancements that are coming your way in late July! Watch your email for more specifics, including training sessions and other resources to guide you through these exciting changes.

Updated consent to contact cards now available

Cigna is happy to inform you that the updated Cigna Healthcare consent to contact cards are now available! Please start using these updated cards for all future lead generation events. Spanish versions of the cards will be available later this month.

Note: CustomPoint is now called 'Sales and Marketing Materials' in CignaForBrokers.

Here's how to find the updated cards: Log in to CignaForBrokers > Select 'Sales and Marketing Materials' > Navigate to 'Customized Sales Collateral' > Select '2025' > Select 'Prospect Correspondence' to view the cards.

Compliant use of Special Election Periods (SEPs)

When completing customer applications, it's essential to understand eligibility guidelines mandated by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regarding using SEPs. Please note that the misuse of SEPs, including the DST, MOV, PAP, ACC, and LCC SEPs,* may lead to disciplinary actions through the Sales Development Action Program (SDAP). Review the guidance from CMS and only submit applications using SEPs when appropriate. Reach out to the Cigna team with any questions.

*DST: Disaster, MOV: Move, PAP: SPAP beneficiaries/SPAP loss of eligibility, ACC: Accessible materials not received within an available election period, LCC: Involuntary loss of Creditable Coverage

Flexible Choice Dental, Vision, and Hearing (DVH) Plus to launch on May 27

Start selling Flexible Choice Dental, Vision, and Hearing (DVH) Plus in CA, FL, IL, PA, and TX on May 27! Highlights include no waiting period for dental benefits and major dental services are covered at 20% in year 1 and 60% in years 2+.
