Cigna 2024 Medicare Stars Ratings

Cigna continues to be committed to their partners and customers for 2024.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have announced the 2024 Medicare Stars Quality Ratings (Stars) for Medicare Advantage plans.

The Cigna Healthcare team is pleased to share that they expect to have more than two-thirds of their customers in a 4-Star plan or higher for 2024, similar to their 2023 results. Cigna plans received a national weighted average of 4.0 Stars.

Some other highlights of the 2024 Stars ratings include:

• North Carolina (H9725) reclaimed its 4.5 Star rating.
• Arizona (H0354) and South Carolina (H7020) both retained their 4.0 Star ratings.
• Georgia (H0439), Pennsylvania and New Jersey (H3949), and Kansas City (H9460) all improved to 3.5 Stars.

Cigna takes their Star ratings seriously as part of their commitment to providing high-quality support to their Medicare customers. They are committed to achieving long-term, sustainable improvement.

In addition to Stars ratings, there are other metrics that reflect the quality of health plans and their dedication to their customers. Those include Net Promoter Scores (NPS), retention rates, and customer health outcomes.
