Applications must be received before midnight the last day of AEP. If application is not received before 11:59pm 12/7/2022, it most likely would not be processed, proof of submission will be required.
Anthem/Amerigroup
Applications must be received before midnight the last day of AEP. If application is not received before 11:59pm 12/7/2022, it most likely would not be processed, proof of submission will be required.
Clear Spring Health
Paper/faxed enrollments need to be signed no later than 12/7/22 and received by 12/9/22 and by 3pm Eastern Time.
Humana
As long as the agent and client both date the application 12/7, that is considered “received” and the AEP election would be valid. However, if they don’t both date it, the “received” date is when Humana actually receives it, and that is where we can run into issues.
Highmark
All AEP paper applications for a January 1, 2023 effective date must be completed, signed, and dated no later than 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7. Please use the "Date Received" box in the upper right hand corner of the application to document the date the agent receives/accepts the enrollment request from the beneficiary. Per CMS guidelines, all applications must be submitted within 48 hours of the agent's receipt of the application.
