• Star ratings are awarded by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) based on information received from providers, health plans, and member satisfaction surveys. CMS recognizes excellence in Medicare Advantage plans annually based on quality and performance.

When can your clients sign up for these 5-Star plans?

• December 8 – 31: Medicare beneficiaries can still enroll in Florida and Ohio HMO and D-SNP plans for January 1. This is crucial for clients that missed AEP.
• January 1 – November 30, 2024: Any Medicare beneficiary can enroll in Florida and Ohio HMO and D-SNP plans any time.
