AEP Halfway News from Humana

Nearing the halfway point of AEP!

** Humana has had a few agents submit in 2022 business on 2021 applications.  Their systems cannot process that way.  Please be sure to use 2022 apps for 2022 business.

  • *Network add in Massachusetts – Reliant Medical Group signed a contract to be in Humana's PPO network effective 1/1/2022*
  • * Updates regarding enrollment hub – email attached with updates*
  • * Member service – don’t forget to use service inquiry on Vantage – open Vantage, go into your book of business, click the members name and create the inquiry.  Tell them if you want them to contact the member*
  • *The DSNP tool will experience an outage on Wednesday Nov 10th from 10 pm to 1 am Due to schedule maintenance*

ASU hours extended:

ASU will be open every Saturday from October 16th through December 4th from 9am-6pm EST.  To contact ASU, call 1-800-309-3163 or you could send an email to Agentsupport@humana.com.  

Please be advised that ASU will be closed on Thursday, November 25th and Friday November 26th for the Thanksgiving holiday. On Saturday, November 27th, we’ll be open 9:00am-6:00pm ET and will resume normal business hours on Monday, November 29th.

Participating locations for DSNP plans:

For agents selling dual eligible plans Medicare/Medicare DSNP (available in NY currently and CT in 2022) - Humana has links to look up the locations that participate in both the healthy food card and the OTC cards.  You just click the link and put in the zip code.

Humana Pharmacy Consent (54 agents out of 2000 have submitted consents. Humana can’t communicate with your members regarding the opportunity without the consent) don’t forget to get the consent signed at the time of application to help save your members co-pays on Tier 1 and Tier 2 drugs 90 day supply $0 copay.  If you are using Ehub to do your applications it will be an option after signature on the application.  There will be 3 questions.  1 PHI click no, 2 Humana pharmacy consent click yes,  3 MAF click no.  Then click the grey button in the left column that says Auth & Sign answer the two questions then submit.  If you are doing a paper application, the paper pharmacy consent that you can get signed is here.

Member Care Assessment Process

The member care assessment can be completed after every MA application and you can do the enrollment on any platform you choose (even paper) and complete the assessment within 5 days of the date on the application and earn a $50 admin fee.  Survey Portal set up (called REVEL) is super easy and fast. And once you’re done, you can access the survey on: your Vantage portal on the Quote & Enroll card, direct on the REVEL portal, or in EHub.

Here’s how to access the training:

  • Log into your Vantage account
  • On the Education card, Click MarketPoint University
  • In the search bar type REVEL – Select Revel member care assessment  
  • Hit the magnifier icon to fetch the course. Enroll. Finish. Five minutes top!  It says 27 pages but you only need to review the first 14 pages, complete the attestation and survey.
  • This will generate an email to you within 24 hours allowing you to register and create a password at Revel so it recognizes you as a certified agent
  • After every MAPD or MA only enrollment, engage your client in the survey questions and help us help them

Sign up for Humana Reach Rewards

  • Put www.humanareachrewards.com into your browser or from your Vantage page in the left hand column click Humana Reach Rewards.
  • Once on the page – only click sign in if you’ve created your account.  Otherwise – scroll down and click sign up
  • Enter your email address you have on file with Humana and hit  send
  • Go check your email it will come in within seconds.
  • Open the email and reset your password (8 characters, 1 capital, 1 number, 1 symbol)
  • Go back to the www.humanareachrewards.com site and enter in your SAN (your writing number) and the new password you’ve created.
  • Answer the few profile questions and you’re done.  Points will accumulate automatically.
