With this year’s AEP soon coming to an end, Wellcare wanted to provide a reminder about the product resources and key benefit information available to you and current or potential Wellcare members.

Flexible Spending Card for Dental, Vision, and Hearing Services (DVH)

The Flexible Spending Card (Flex Card) has been expanded for Wellcare, Ascension Complete and is available on more plans across the country for 2022!

SSBCI - Supplemental Benefits for the Chronically Ill

Special Supplemental Benefits for the Chronically Ill (SSBCI) help qualified members with chronic illnesses improve health outcomes. This year, Wellcare has introduced new SSBCI benefits to address Social Determinants of Health (SSBCI offerings vary across plans/markets).

Pharmacy Benefits and Network Highlights

We have new and improved Pharmacy updates for our members, including new high-quality and affordable options like $0 preventive vaccine copay options, supplemental tier 1 excluded drug coverage with increased quantity limits, and improved preferred pharmacy network on all TMA (Traditional Medicare Advantage) & C-SNP (Chronic Special Needs) plans.

NEW! We have also introduced Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) Regional Portfolios at a Glance, where you can find specific premium and tier cost share information for plans offered by state.

Over-the-Counter (OTC) Benefits

Wellcare's Over-the-Counter (OTC) benefits allow members to buy health products to support their overall health. This benefit gives members $10 - $550 per benefit period to purchase a plan-approved list of OTC items.
