2021 Health Net California Medicare Supplement Optional Buy-Up Packages Discontinued!

As of 10/7/2021, Centene has discontinued the sales of the Hearing, Vision, and Dental buy-up packages linked with Health Net Medicare Supplement plans. Below is a snapshot of the packages:

Buy - Up Packages to be removed

Please note members may still receive vision/hearing benefits by enrolling in one of our Innovative Plans. Innovative Plan G and Innovative Plan F - includes the products listed below as core benefits:

• Routing Hearing Exam - One Hearing Exam every 12 months.
• Hearing Aid(s) - Includes fitting evaluation. Hearing aid cost shares are based on technology levels.
• Routine Eye Exam - One Vision Exam every 12 months.
• Eyewear - Up to $250 allowance for frame and lens package once every 24 months or contact lens once every 12 months.
• Chiropractic/Acupuncture - $0 copay/20 visits combined (Innovative Plan G only).
• Age Band Structure with Los Angeles and San Diego zip codes split into multiple regions (Innovative Plan G only).

On-going Highlights

2021 Rate Pass and New to Part B Discount:

• Rates established in 2020 are effective through February 2022 and current 2020 Medicare Supplement kits are good through 2021.
• New to Part B monthly premium discount continues to be $30. Members who enroll into any Health Net Medicare Supplement plan within 6 months of their Part B effective date will qualify for the discount for the first 12 months of enrollment.

Medicare Supplement Broker Bonus Promotion

• Brokers that submit Health Net New Medicare Supplement enrollments will receive $175 per application! Available on all plans with or without underwriting until further notice.
