Your HealthSpring broker portal is arriving next month! You'll receive a new link and login instructions when it launches on December 15. When you log in on that date, a new contracting system for all Medicare brokers, and an upgraded commissions experience for MA and PDP brokers, will be available to explore.
With these changes, the broker portal will become your one-stop shop to monitor, manage, and grow your business with HealthSpring. You can expect streamlined onboarding, self-service demographic changes, better reporting and recruiting capabilities, and more!
Watch your email for training resources and more details later this month. In the meantime, here are some important updates:
Remember to register for November training sessions to keep your sales skills strong! Topics include enrolling with ConnectureDRX, ordering sales and marketing materials, military health benefits and MA, supplemental benefits product portfolio, and more!
HealthSpring honors your relationship with your clientele and have developed a robust AOR protection policy as part of their ongoing commitment to broker partners. When any existing MA or PDP member completes a plan change enrollment with one of the employed HealthSpring agents, through the dedicated plan change line (1-855-649-5105) or by submitting an application online at HealthSpring.com, you will remain the AOR and continue to receive renewal commissions. AOR protection applies to brokers that are ready-to-sell at the time of the member's plan change, so long as there was no break in coverage and the new plan is eligible for a new or renewal commission
Learn more about the commitment to honor your client relationship by reviewing the link below.
In 2026, HealthSpring is paying agents $50 for any HRAs submitted for non-Special Needs Plans (SNP) and $100 for any HRAs submitted for Special Needs Plans. Don't miss the opportunity to earn extra money in your pocket by administering HRAs for your members. Important deadline: Agents have until December 24, 2025 to submit the HRA for any member applications taken from October 1 – December 7, 2025.
Did you know HealthSpring has an offline provider directory available in Producers' University? Log in to download the directory for your market today! This will come in handy if you're ever unable to access the online provider directory due to internet connection issues or system outages.
To access, visit the broker portal, then navigate to 'Medicare Producers University' under Tools. Once logged in, visit the Resource Center, then select 'Provider Information.' You'll be able to view and download a spreadsheet with the provider directory pertaining to your market.
When submitting PDP applications with an effective date that is before the January 1, 2026 plan year, please make sure to use the correct election type. Any invalid election types will cause the application to be processed using election type 'AEP' for a January 1, 2026 effective date which may cause delays in processing. For more information on election types, please refer to the 2025 Election Period Booklet found in CignaForBrokers.com.
The Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) program through Monogram Health will be ending on December 31, 2025. Current members using this program will be notified of this change via letter. Please note that they will continue to receive care and support through the end of 2025. Once 2026 begins, please encourage your clientele to contact a HealthSpring care manager to help coordinate their CKD care moving forward.
HealthSpring is wrapping up the year with recent Medicare Supplement insurance and Flexible Choice Dental, Vision, & Hearing Plus launches in more states! See the linked pages for state availability and resources to help you make the sale this AEP.
