Policies written prior to the name change to Globe Life Insurance Company of New York

We are in the process of changing our Company name from First United American Life Insurance Company to Globe Life Insurance Company of New York. This is simply a name change for the Company. There are no changes to the stability, financial strength ratings, product benefits, or ownership of the Company.

General Agents in New York may continue to use First UA materials and applications, even for those applications requesting Jan. 1, 2017 or later effective dates, through Dec. 31, 2016.

Policies will be issued as First United American Life Insurance Company when the policy is issued before Jan. 1, 2017. Policies will be issued as Globe Life Insurance Company of New York when the policy is issued on or after Jan. 1, 2017, even if the policy was submitted on a First UA application.

All FUA policyholders will receive a minimum of one notice regarding the name change before the end of this year (2016).

Effective Jan. 1, 2017, the Company will collect premiums and pay claims as Globe Life Insurance Company of New York (formerly First United American Life Insurance Company).
