Update! LEAN™ Application Submissions
We are pleased that so many of you are utilizing LEAN this Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) and we wanted to share some important updates regarding this tool.
Due to the LEAN updates below, please access LEAN via the website rather than the mobile app. Reminder: You can access the website via mobile device browser or laptop.
LEAN Update #1
A small group of LEAN users are experiencing a delay when submitting offline applications. In these instances, the user receives confirmation of submission, but the application has not been received fully by UnitedHealthcare. Please note, this issue has impacted less than 1% of LEAN users. However, we are taking immediate steps to ensure this is resolved in a timely manner.
What we are doing to correct the issue:
UnitedHealthcare is in the process of retrieving your application. If there is any issue we will contact you directly.
What all LEAN users need to do:
- For the remainder of AEP, all users should access LEAN via the website rather than the mobile app.
- Don’t forget to save the link to your favorites.
LEAN Update #2
Applications that the user completes and submits remain in their dashboard as “Not Submitted”. This also occurs in less than 1% of LEAN submissions and for a variety of reasons (signal strength, hardware challenges, etc.)
Will my applications be submitted successfully?
No. The agent must return and take a paper application.
